A Nabothian cyst removal is a minor, in-office gynecological procedure performed to remove small, fluid-filled cysts that form on the surface of the cervix. While Nabothian cysts are usually harmless and often found during a routine pelvic exam, removal may be recommended if they are large, causing infertility, causing discomfort, or need to be assessed further to rule out other conditions. During this appointment, your provider will examine the cervix and remove the cyst using a safe, well-tolerated in-office technique. The procedure is typically quick, minimally invasive, and does not usually require general anesthesia. Most patients experience little to no discomfort and can resume normal activities shortly afterward. This service is performed at Hazba Medical Center, Your provider will walk you through the procedure, answer any questions, and provide clear aftercare instructions to support a smooth recovery.
